Step 1: Install HOT IPTV on LG Smart TV

Via LG Content Store:

  1. Turn on your LG Smart TV.
  2. Press the Home button on your LG Magic Remote.
  3. Navigate to LG Content Store.
  4. Click the Search icon (magnifying glass).
  5. Type "HOT IPTV" using the on-screen keyboard.
  6. Select HOT IPTV from search results.
  7. Click "Install" or "Add to Home".
  8. Wait for download and installation to complete.
  9. Click "Launch" to open HOT IPTV.

Compatible LG TV Models:

  • LG Smart TVs (2014-2025)
  • webOS 2.0 and higher
  • All OLED, NanoCell, and UHD models

Step 2: Activate HOT IPTV

On first launch, you'll see an activation screen:

  1. Note the activation code and MAC address displayed.
  2. On your phone or computer, visit the activation website (shown on TV).
  3. Enter the activation code or MAC address.
  4. Complete the activation process.
  5. Return to your TV - the app should activate automatically.

Note: HOT IPTV typically offers a free trial before requiring activation payment.


Step 3: Add Your CCCAMBOX Playlist

Method 1: M3U URL (Simple)

  1. In HOT IPTV, navigate to Settings or Playlists.
  2. Select "Add Playlist" or "+".
  3. Choose "Remote Playlist (M3U URL)".
  4. Enter your CCCAMBOX M3U playlist URL.
  5. Name it "CCCAMBOX".
  6. Click "Save" or "Add".
  7. Wait for channels to load (1-3 minutes).

Method 2: Xtream Codes API (Recommended)

  1. Go to SettingsPlaylists.
  2. Select "Add Xtream Codes".
  3. Enter your CCCAMBOX credentials:
  • Name: CCCAMBOX
  • Server URL: Your server URL
  • Port: Usually 80 (check with CCCAMBOX)
  • Username: Your CCCAMBOX username
  • Password: Your CCCAMBOX password
  1. Click "Connect" or "Save".
  2. Channels and VOD will load automatically.

Troubleshooting

App Won't Install:

  • Check LG TV model (webOS required)
  • Ensure internet connection is active
  • Update webOS: Settings → All Settings → General → About This TV → Check for Updates
  • Check if HOT IPTV is available in your region

Activation Problems:

  • Verify activation code is correct
  • Check internet connection
  • Wait a few minutes and retry
  • Contact HOT IPTV support

Channels Not Loading:

  • Verify M3U URL or Xtream credentials
  • Check internet connection (Settings → Network → Connection Test)
  • Ensure CCCAMBOX subscription is active
  • Refresh playlist in settings
  • Restart HOT IPTV

Buffering/Stuttering:

  • Test internet speed (minimum 10 Mbps for HD, 25 Mbps for 4K)
  • Use wired ethernet instead of WiFi
  • Increase buffer size
  • Close other apps on LG TV
  • Restart TV

EPG Not Showing:

  • EPG download takes time (5-30 minutes)
  • Manually refresh: Settings → EPG → Update Now
  • Verify EPG included with CCCAMBOX
  • Check time zone is correct

App Crashes/Freezes:

  • Clear app cache: LG Settings → Apps → HOT IPTV → Clear Data
  • Restart LG TV (unplug for 30 seconds)
  • Reinstall HOT IPTV
  • Update webOS to latest version

No Sound:

  • Check TV volume and mute
  • Verify audio settings in HOT IPTV
  • Try different audio track
  • Check sound bar/audio system connections
  • Restart playback
